His influences came from his upbringing in the small town of Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada, through to his life and experiences in Australia and now living and creating music in Nashville, TN.

Harry Kappen is no stranger to creating music that matters. With three previous solo albums—Pictures, Escape, and Time Will Tell—he has built a strong reputation in the independent music scene for his eclectic sound and lyrical depth.
His latest project, Four, continues this tradition with ten deeply personal songs exploring themes of love, courage, truth, and the struggle to live authentically in turbulent times. All of this is framed by his unwavering devotion to his wife, who remains his constant source of inspiration.
Musically, Four is as diverse as ever, ranging from gritty guitar-driven rock to smooth, jazzy ballads and touches of Latin flair. Yet every song bears Kappen’s unique signature: a sound that’s both sophisticated and emotionally raw.
